“Rachel Carson & Her Legacy for North Carolina”

Dr. Musil will discuss Carson’s visit to the North Carolina coast and
her opposition to CAFOs (confined animal feeding operations).
The UNCG Bookstore will be present before and after the event to sell
copies of Dr. Musil’s book _Rachel Carson and Her Sisters: Extraordinary
Women Who Have Shaped America’s Environment_ (Rutgers Press, 2014).
