If you’re currently majoring in WGS or thinking about pursuing a major but have absolutely no idea how you’ll pay off your student loans or sustain an adult life post-graduation, then this is the event for you!

The panel will be comprised of alumni including:

Rebecca Mann, who is a graduate of the UNCG WGS MA program and works in nonprofit organization management, which includes running her own company and is current president of the WGS Friends.

Sarah Colonna, is also a graduate of the UNCG WGS MA program who is finishing a PhD in the ELC program at UNCG and is Associate Faculty Chair of Grogan College on campus.

Kimber Heinz, graduated from the WGS program with an MA, worked for several years as the national organizer for the War Resisters League in NYC and is currently pursuing an MA in Public History at UNCG.

On Wednesday, 11/11 at 4:30pm, WGS is convening a panel of WGS alumni to speak about ways in which they have found meaningful work using their degree that also allows them to make a living! Please come join us to find ways that you can also put your degree to work in positive and impactful ways while also being able to make an income.
