Writing Workshop with Kameelah Janan Rasheed

Join us to learn more about artist-educator Kameelah Janan Rasheed’s artistic praxis and to participate in a workshop led by the artist. In the workshop, we’ll think together about the “poetics and politics of non-compliance and disobedience across written, spoken, and visual language. We’ll also consider the radical possibilities of noise, unintelligibility, and discrepancy, particularly in the face of rationalized and sanctioned violence.”

We will gather in the Macdonald Room/Curry 231. Refreshments will be provided.
